Bosh has had a max offer on the table from the Houston Rockets for a while now. He was understandably waiting to hear the decision from James before he committed to anything, having expressed a desire to stay in Miami if the circumstances were right.
Those circumstances aren’t right anymore, and Marc Stein reports that Bosh is expected to sign with the Rockets soon.

Bosh certainly was not going to be left hanging on this one if he could help it, and now he can put himself on a different title contender by joining James Harden and Dwight Howard in Houston, even if it is in the more difficult Western Conference.
In addition to the appeal of moving closer to his home in Texas, Bosh will now be able to play his more natural position at power forward next to Howard. As far as backup options go, this one isn’t a bad one for Bosh if it comes through.
