Miami Heat Rumors: Chris Andersen drawing interest from several contenders
By Josh Hill
The Miami Heat lost LeBron James this morning but they quickly managed to rebound and are starting to put together a team that might actually contend in 2014-15 and make a run at a title without LeBron James.

So far Pat Riley has managed to get most of the band back together as Chris Bosh was surprisingly retained and the same will soon be said about Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. Another familiar face could be back in the fold as Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen could be on his way back to South Beach, although he’s drawing interest from several contending teams.
It’s unclear who these contenders are, but Andersen has shown an ability to be a Dennis Rodman type of player where his outward appearance is for shock value while his basketball skills speak for themselves.
Plenty of teams would love to have him and while he’s loyal to the Heat we may see someone swoop in with an offer he just can’t refuse. That’s not to say he’s for sure going to leave Miami, as it’s where he wants to play, but he has options and isn’t tied to any one team at the moment as he shops for a new home with a clear mind.
