There is no match for the joy that is being experienced in Cleveland right now with the news that LeBron James will return to play for the Cavaliers once again. The team that might be closest in terms of happiness, however, would be the Houston Rockets.

It could reasonably be argued that James signing with anybody other than the Heat was step one in the best-case scenario plan for the Rockets. Once that happened, the Rockets quickly kicked up the intensity on their series of moves. In particular they are looking to get a commitment from Chris Bosh on their max offer to him and to match the offer sheet for Chandler Parsons.
To do so will require trades to free up salary. Daryl Morey and company are reportedly moving swiftly to do just that.

The trades that must happen would move Jeremy Lin and his big contract and Omer Asik and his laughable albatross of a contract. If they can execute those deals, the Rockets hope that they will be able to add Bosh and Parsons to create what they believe is a championship contending team. Their aggressive off-season will not be the big story, of course, but it certainly could stand to shake up the difficult Western Conference.
