The unnamed 30-year-old woman was reportedly trying to break up a fight between her boyfriend and two other men when she was knocked cold. The woman was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with serious injuries and now police are seeking the two men responsible.
Cops say they are looking for a pair of suspects who drove away from the scene in a gold Toyota Tundra. One suspect is described as a black man in his thirties with “distinctive” hazel or green eyes.
This situation is extra-sensitive given the violence that has broken out in the vicinity of AT&T Park in recent years. Last September, a Dodger fan was stabbed to death after getting in a fight with a group of men in the same general area where the woman was knocked out.
Clearly, Giants fans need to chill the hell out. There is way too much violence happening around Giants games. Right now, I’d say Giants fans have about the same reputation as Eagles fans and Jets fan. That’s not a reputation you want to have. Unless you enjoy being considered a thuggish fanbase.
Do you enjoy that Giants fans? If you’re a good Giants fan, maybe it’s time for you to rise up and speak out against the thugs in your midst. Don’t stay quiet, good, non-violent Giants fans. Don’t give in to the lunatic fringe terrorist Giants fans.
Update: A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fight.
