The Cleveland Cavaliers and free agent guard Mike Miller are getting closer and closer to striking a deal but so far nothing official has transpired. Progress is encouraging though as just 48 hours ago Mike Miller was starting to negotiate deeper and deeper with the Denver Nuggets and over the course of a day that has switched so violently that it’s probably a lot for Miller to process.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Either way, Brian Windhorst from ESPN.com is reporting that the Cavaliers and Mike Miller are making more and more progress on what will likely end up being a deal at some point in the very near future. Right now such a deal hasn’t been reached but there’s a lot to love about going to Cleveland if you’re Mike Miller right now.

The Memphis Grizzlies have already replaced Miller with Vince Carter and the Denver Nuggets hardly have the attractive roster that the Cavaliers have, so it doesn’t seem like that hard of a decision for Miller. The major selling point is LeBron James, who was reportedly recruiting Miller before he decided to sign back home in Cleveland and the duo have had wild success together in Miami.

It’s a question of whether or not that magic can be recaptured and Miller seems willing to try and find out as progress continues to get made on a deal.
