Late Friday night, news surfaced that the Chicago Bulls were nearing a deal with free agent big man Pau Gasol.

With a deal seemingly imminent, many are wondering how the deal will get complete.
Chicago could find a way to just sign Gasol as a free agent, but they would have to figure out what to do with Carlos Boozer.
Because of the team’s unwillingness to amnesty Boozer, they remain in heavy pursuit of a sign-and-trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Regardless of what the Bulls do to make room for Boozer, it appears that a deal is going to get done.
