Chicago Bulls Rumors: Nikola Mirotic announces new contract on Twitter

The Chicago Bulls struck out on Nikola Mirotic in past offseasons but the team will go no further without their 2011 first-round draft pick coming along for the ride. After three years of playing for Real Madrid following being drafted by the Bulls, Mirotic is heading over the the States and will be joining the NBA this season.

Mirotic was acquired in a string of activity by the Bulls on draft night back in 2011 and now three years later they have him ready to come over and finally join the team. He has been touted as being well worth the wait and Bulls fans will now get to see just how much the wait really was worth.

To confirm reports that he was coming over the the NBA this upcoming season, Mirotic tweeted out a message to his followers on Twitter to announce he will be playing for the Chicago Bulls in 2014-15.

He then tweeted out the same message in English for the rest of his fans waiting for him in Chicago and all over the NBA.
