Henry Rowengartner returns to Wrigley Field
It’s a moment that Chicago Cubs fans have waited to see for decades, a World Series title.
No, just joking. Henry Rowengartner is back at Wrigley Field, which is probably as close to excitement as the Cubs will be getting any time soon.

Henry Rowengartner, played by actor Thomas Ian Nicholas, was the main character in the 1993 film “Rookie of the Year”, which went on to enjoy box office success. The film featured a young boy who became an unstoppable flamethrower after a freak accident. Of course, hilarity would ensue. A 12-year old pitcher? No way!
Unfortunately for Nicholas, it looked as if he’d not thrown a pitch since the film wrapped, and mailed in the honorary first pitch prior to the Cubs/Braves game on Saturday afternoon.
Nicholas, who went on to enjoy success in the American Pie series, was in Chicago promoting a show for his band, in which performed in the city on Saturday.
No word on if Rowengartner was offered a spot in the Cubs bullpen, after the team barely avoided the rare 5-game sweep with a win over the Cincinnati Reds earlier this week.
