Indiana Pacers Rumors: Paul George wants Lance Stephenson to re-sign
By Josh Hill
The Indiana Pacers were bounced from the Eastern Conference playoffs this past season following some poor play and boneheaded antics by guard Lance Stephenson. The poor play was universal to the entire team but the shady, ear-blowing antics were exclusive to Stephenson and it seemed to anger his teammates.

Stephenson’s antics angered his teammates in the moment only, it seems, as now that some time has passed it’s becoming apparent that any animosity that the Pacers held towards Stephenson was nothing more than sibling angst as cooler heads are now prevailing.
According to the Indianapolis-Star, George spoke out about his relationship with Stephenson and noted that he wants the guard to re-sign with the Pacers this offseason.
"“I was a restricted free agent so I didn’t have to go through this,” George said at his youth basketball camp at Avon High School on Saturday. “So this is really up to Lance but I do want Lance coming back. I love being teammates with Lance. If he needs any words or anything to talk about, I’m always here for Lance.”"
This is great news for not only Stephenson but for the Pacers as well. The only problem is that it’s coming at a time when Stephenson is starting to be coveted by other teams as Charlotte, Dallas and even Miami could be in on trying to get the guard to break away from Indiana.
