After the NBA Finals, Chalmers was untouchable for all the wrong reasons as his disappearance on the biggest stage in basketball hurt his stock and he’s now returning to the Heat on w two-year deal.
Marc Stein from ESPN.com reported the deal, which is both good and bad for Chalmers. It’s good int hat he has a job, but it’s bad that this is the best way we can describe his re-signing with the Heat.

Chalmers was effective at times for the Heat though, as he can’t be solely judged on his bad NBA Finals appearance this past year. Still, Chalmers flamed out with the Heat and it’s going to be a long road back tot he top for him as he needs to rebuild more than just his reputation, he needs to earn the respect he lost in the NBA Finals this past year.
