It’s not often that the Derby is delayed, but it’s expected to be a short one as the bats will be cracking within the hour from Target Field. The new start time for the Home Run Derby is 8:30pm ET, but that didn’t stop Twitter from giving the glorified batting practice event some extra gruff on social media.
The rain seemed to have past through the metropolitan area, but the delay was called nonetheless which set some folks off on mini-Twitter rants.
