Home Run Derby participants 2014: Giancarlo Stanton, Troy Tulowitzki lead field

The 2014 Home Run Derby takes place tonight and it is always the highlight of the three-day MLB All-Star festivities. This year’s list of Home Run Derby participants is a star-studded field with five players a piece for the American and National league.

Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays leads the American League side as captain, despite Josh Donaldson of the Oakland Athletics bringing in more home runs this year.
For the National League, captain Troy Tulowitzki of the Colorado Rockies and Giancarlo Stanton, who is one of the favorites to win the 2014 derby, lead the way.
