The starting lineups read like your typical All-Star lineups but the interesting wild cards each year are who will get the first innings of work as the starter of the All-Star Game.
This year the decision came down to two of the finest and most talented arms in the game as Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez and St. Louis Cardinals flamethrower Adam Wainwright have been selected as the American League and National League starters this year.
Both starters are very deserving of the honor to start the All-Star Game as both could end up carrying their teams to the postseason this year. The task is harder for Hernadez, but in the end both pitchers are at the absolute peak of their game and are two of the most dominant arms in all of baseball.
