In a recent Instagram post from Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, he announced that he is a ‘Heat lifer.’ If you really want to read into it, you could see a subtle shot at LeBron James in his words by calling it “his house.”

That wasn’t just any ole Instagram post, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst says that is Wade announcing that his new deal with the Miami Heat has been finalized.
As implied by Dwyane Wade's tweet, his new deal with Heat has been finalized and he expects to sign as soon as today, sources told ESPN

So exactly what kind of money are we talking here? Windhorst reported earlier in the day that Wade was lining up for a deal starting at $15 million.
Based on Heat's moves yesterday & their commitments, appears Dwyane Wade lining up for a deal that starts at about $15 million

Not a small chunk of change, but that is basically what Chandler Parsons is getting a year from the Dallas Mavericks over the next three seasons. It also is no where close to the max-deal Chris Bosh got to re-sign with the Heat. Wade is certainly on the back side of the bell curve of his career, his injury issues have become more persistent and it puts to bed any rumors that he was thinking about heading to the Chicago Bulls, his home town.
[UPDATE:]
AP reporting Wade will take 2-year deal with 2nd year option with Heat, which would give him flexibility & possible raise next year.
