From the resurgence of point guard Kemba Walker to the leadership of Steve Clifford, the old Bobcats are looking at a bright future as the Hornets and it’s a future that could include Lance Stephenson.
According to Rock Bonell from the Charlotte Observer, the Hornets and Stephenson will meet this week in Las Vegas to see if the two are a fit for one another moving forward.
This is interesting news because, as Bonnell pointed out, the Hornets had initially backed off the reported interest they had in Lance Stephenson but are now meeting with him in Las Vegas this week.
Still, he could give the Hornets the edge they need and while his antics aren’t always welcomed, he’ll give the Hornets some sting in more than one way should he decide to sign there this offseason.
