There are still some free agent options out there for the Pacers, including Evan Turner who sort of flamed out in the worst way for Indiana this past season. But one player the Pacers are looking at is Detroit Pistons veteran Rodney Stuckey.
According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the Pacers are taking a very serious look at acquiring Stuckey and getting him to replace Lance Stephenson’s role on the team.
Stuckey is a free agent, so a sign-and-trade with the Pistons might be what this comes down to but if there’s a way for the Pacers to acquire Rodney Stuckey then they’re going to explore that route as they’re in panic mode after losing Stephenson and will be looking to fill the void quickly.
