Over the last few seasons, the Miami Heat have been considered the favorites to win the NBA Title.

The rationale behind it was simple – they had the game’s best player, forward LeBron James, two fellow stars, guard Dwyane Wade and big man Chris Bosh, and several other excellent complimentary pieces like guard Ray Allen, forward Shane Battier and center Chris “Birdman” Andersen.
Now that James has left the Heat in favor of a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, many are picking the Cavaliers to win the NBA Title. Not only do they have James, but they have point guard Kyrie Irving, a former number one overall pick and the MVP of the 2014 All-Star Game, the last two number one picks, forward Anthony Bennett (2013) and swingman Andrew Wiggins (2014) and a pair of former number four overall picks in guard Dion Waiters and big man Tristan Thompson. Plus, the Cavaliers may be close to dealing Wiggins in a package that would land them Minnesota Timberwolves’ star power forward Kevin Love.
Because of that, our friends over at Bovada have made the Cavaliers the favorites to win the NBA Title this seasons with the defending champion San Antonio Spurs just behind. The Chicago Bulls, who signed big man Pau Gasol, now have the third-best odds to win the title.
