The New York Giants are undergoing a bit of an offensive resurgence this season with new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo now at the helm. Part of that resurgence is said to include the implementation of the three running back system that includes Rashad Jennings, David Wilson and rookie Andre Williams.

But as Williams gets set to enter his first season in the NFL, he’s not worried about how much will be pushed upon him. He just wants to be a contributor to this team in any way that he can.

“I’m just looking to contribute in any way that I can, continue to do well in practice and build faith with the coaches so they can put me on the field,” Williams said Wednesday.

After rushing for over 2,000 yards and landing himself a trip to the Heisman ceremony last year at Boston College, Williams could draw a lot more hype than some of the other running backs in this class.

But, he was also the workhorse for that offense at Boston College last season. With that comes dealing with a lot of men in the box on the defensive side of the ball. Something that he does not have to deal with now, and he has no complaints about that.

“In college, being the workhorse at Boston College, every time I lined up I’d see eight or nine bodies in the box. Now, sometimes I’m coming out and there’s only five or six, so that’s definitely a positive,” he said.
