#7 Cam Newton

He’s exciting. He’s a dual-threat. He keeps getting better. He sells tickets. You want to have him on your team.

The 25-year-old Atlanta native is only going into his fourth season as the starting quarterback in Carolina. His decision-making has improved yearly, which is evident by the fact his passer rating has also improved each year. He’s a walking highlight with a big ceiling above his head; Newton can’t be left out this list. If he can take the Panthers to the playoffs, he can almost certainly take my franchise.

As a side note, Super Cam has been dealing with an ankle injury this offseason limiting his mobility, which will be a developing story for the Panthers to watch. Newton is also another player that will be getting into his second contract sooner than later.
