Washington Wizards want to bring Al Harrington back
By Josh Hill
The Washington Wizards were a surprise last season and they’re looking to get into the postseason again in 2014-15 after tasting winning ways for the first time in a long time last year.

One player who wasn’t as big a part of the winning as they maybe would have hoped was Al Harrington, who was banged up all season long and had to have surgery on his right knee to fix things up. But while he was gone in 2013-14, Al Harrington was not forgotten about by the Wizards, who will be looking at bringing him back this season.
According to J. Michael of CSNWashington.com, the Washington Wizards want to get Al Harrington back but it’s entirely up to him whether he plays next season or not.
"As stated here previously, the Wizards aren’t in any rush to fill their 15th and final roster spot because training camp still is almost two full months away. But it appears, based on what CSNWashington.com has learned since Las Vegas summer league, that it will be for Al Harrington’s taking."
Harrington clearly has a veteran leadership quality that the Wizards want to get back on their team, as made evident by his coaching of the Summer League team. It’s not clear if or when he’ll come back, but it’s clear that he has a place on the Wizards roster if he wants it.
