Andre Johnson reports to Houston Texans camp
By Jack Crosby
Everyone had been wondering leading up to Houston Texans camp whether or not wide receiver Andre Johnson would show up as he continually has expressed his displeasure about staying with the only team he’s ever known. Well on Friday, we got our answer. He indeed did show up to work on time, and without incident.
It hasn’t exactly been been kept a secret that Johnson does not want to be in Houston anymore as part of a rebuilding project, and would like to be traded. However, the team, thus far, will not oblige those requests, and that’s why it’s been interesting to watch this entire process play out over the past few months.

Now, with Johnson reporting, things could only get more interesting from here.
Johnson was never one to take any plays off or short his teammates, but it’s always dangerous to have someone on the field that has no desire to be where he’s at.
But again, Johnson has been a model professional throughout his entire career, and there’s a chance that the team can work something out going forward with him.
