After it was all said and done, GGG picked up yet another knockout victory when he dropped Geale in the third round to move to 30-0 on his career. It was his 18th KO in a row.

Here’s the highlights of the action:

Round 1: Both fighters come out and have the feeling out process in the middle of the ring. GGG throws the left jab a few times with no success immediately. About a minute into the round, GGG lands two of them to the face of Geale. With about a minute left in the round, Geale starts to get more aggressive, pushing GGG back a bit. GGG lands some solid shots with a little under a minute to go on Geale up against the ropes. Geale started that round well, but he didn’t finish it well at all. Good round for GGG.

Round 2: Right off the bat, GGG brings the onslaught and Geale hits the canvas. Also opened up a cut on the right eye. Geale keeps trying to mount the comeback, but GGG just stays patient, which has worked for him so far. With about 20 seconds in the round, GGG lands a nice overhand right.

So far, the first two rounds have been all GGG. Not a good sign for Geale’s chances in the long haul.

Round 3:

Geale is able to get a nice shot to the midsection early. GGG gets Geale backed into a corner and lands a huge left. Geale escapes, but GGG gets him backed into another corner. GGG gets him into another corner and then drops Geale with a right, followed by a left. The referee takes one look at Geale and waves it off. It’s over.

Winner: GGG via TKO; Moving to 30-0.
