After landing LeBron James in free agency, the Cleveland Cavaliers are getting gluttonous because at this point why shouldn’t they? They’ve returned the best player in the world to the place where he started his career and if there is even one iota of hope that the best young power forward in the game can be landed then why not try.
According to AP reporter Jon Krawczynski, Love’s current situation with the Timberwolves is the reason that he’s withdrawing from Team USA for the FIBA World Cup this summer.
This isn’t news to be taken lightly, even is if it’s completely expected. This in no way indicates that a trade is near but what it does do is put pressure on the situation that could help a trade get completed within the next 30 days.
