The Los Angeles Dodgers are not one of the teams sweating the trade deadline approaching in five days time, as they really don’t have much cooking on the hot stove.

There are players that the Dodgers have who can help them get prospects but there isn’t really one big name outside of an obvious one that looks like it could be traded before the deadline arrives next week.
To display the lack of emphasis there is on the trade market in Los Angeles at the moment, even as expendable as the Dodgers seem to feel Matt Kemp is, the Dodgers aren’t rushing to make a deal that will dump is salary or acquire prospects in exchange for him.
According to FOXSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers aren’t close to any deal, let alone one that involves the so-so trade value of Matt Kemp.
Sources: #Dodgers not close to any significant deal. Kemp doing well in RF; some wary of moving his RH bat, esp w injury history of OFers.

This really isn’t all the surprising as the Dodgers haven’t really been mentioned in many trade rumors and Kemp isn’t the player he used to be in terms of his trade value. When it comes to moves the Dodgers can make, they very well could pick up some extra hitting help but the bottom line is this will pretty much be the team everyone watches the final stretch of the season and no big trade is likely going to shake up the roster in any big way.
