Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is unquestionably the face of the Colorado Rockies organization, and has been for the past few years. The casual baseball fan doesn’t know much about the Rockies, but they know who Tulowitzki is as one of the fastest rising stars in the game today.

Being the face of the organization, the Rockies recently wanted to show their appreciation for their star by having a giveaway night with his shirt. It was a nice gesture for the fans, as well as a nice show of appreciation for Tulo.
Well, there was one problem. They spelled his name wrong.
I mean, first off, their heart was in the right place with the idea of having the night in honor of their shortstop. However, you have to wonder how something like this gets past the people that are producing them.
Sure, it’s a mistake. But something like this should be triple-checked before they’re distributed, something they clearly did not do.
With the rumors that Tulowitzki could be headed to a larger market some time soon, this was not a good way to show that Tulowitzki is indeed appreciated, which was the whole point of this in the first place.
