Klay Thompson confident he won’t be traded for Kevin Love
By Josh Hill
The NBA trade season has come and gone it seems as the only pillar left standing is that of Kevin Love and at the moment it looks like there isn’t much movement on trade talks with anyone out of Minnesota.

One team that seemed to be pretty heavily involved in rumors to acquire Love this offseason were the Golden State Warriors, but those talks never progressed very far thanks tot he Dubs reluctance to include Klay Thompson in any of the trade offers that were sent out to Minnesota.
Despite hearing his name so often mentioned, Thompson doesn’t believe that he’s going to be traded and is hardly fretting about it.
"Klay Thompson is confident he will still be with the Golden State Warriors next season amid the Kevin Love trade talk. The Warriors have spoken with the Minnesota Timberwolves about acquiring Love, but also have strong competition from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. Golden State has balked at moving its starting shooting guard and Thompson said he “got that vibe” from new Warriors coach Steve Kerr that he wouldn’t be traded.“We got a good core. I feel we have one of the better backcourts in the league,” Thompson, referring to his backcourt mate Stephen Curry, told Yahoo Sports on Sunday."
There’s still a chance he may be traded but at the end of the day it appears that any trade that the Dubs make in the near future — for Love or not — won’t be including Thompson anywhere near them.
