But Lester wasn’t the only big name on the marker who could be moved, as the Tampa Bay Rays are looking for deals when it comes to starter David Price, but so far haven’t agreed to anything they’ve heard up to this point. That could change in the next few hours as the Rays have been scouting teams recently and may come to terms on a deal that moves Price.
According to Jon Morosi from FOX Sports, the Rays and Tigers could be getting on the path that leads to an eventual deal that lands Price in Detroit and on the same staff as Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander.

It would be a monstrous trade that picks the Tigers clean of some top prospects but also would land them the a pitching staff in the AL that can match that of the one assembled in Oakland for the A’s. It’s not a done deal by any means, but the Tigers are in on Price and now is the best time to emerge as a possibility.
