Milwaukee Bucks officially sign Jerryd Bayless
About a week ago former Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies guard Jerryd Bayless stated that he and the Milwaukee Bucks were closing in on a two-year deal. Today, the Bucks officially announced the signing of Bayless and introduced him at the Cousins Center.
As of this writing, the details of the contract have not been specified by either party. Bayless has been a journeyman in his six year NBA career out of Arizona. He was drafted No. 11 overall by the Indiana Pacers in 2008, but was dealt immediately in a draft day trade that sent him to the Portland Trail Blazers.

After spending two season with the Blazers, Bayless spent time with a plethora of teams including the New Orleans Hornets, the Toronto Raptors, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Boston Celtics.
Now with his sixth team, Bayless hopes to find a permanent home in the NBA. Last year, Bayless averaged 9.3 points and 2.7 assists with the Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies. While he is not an explosive player by any means, he is more than suitable coming off the bench.
During his time in Boston, Bayless showed off his three point shooting skills, shooting nearly 40% from behind the arc.
Bayless joins a stacked back court of Brandon Knight, Kendall Marshall, and Nate Wolters. Expect those players to shift positions from point to shooting guard in a number of different offensive sets and schemes set by new head coach Jason Kidd.
