5) Aquib Talib vs. Julian Edelman / Wes Welker and Demaryius Thomas vs. Revis. Denver @ New England. November 2nd.

Now, is Julian Edelman (or maybe even Danny Ammendola) an elite WR? No. However, this one will be interesting to watch. Bill Belichick gave the money to Revis, not Talib. Talib knows this group of Patriot wideouts like the back of his hand, just as Belichick and the staff know Talib and his weaknesses.

The Pats are going to quick out, slant, bubble, shallow cross and comeback route Talib and that Bronco secondary to death. On the opposite side of the ball, the Welker and Thomas vs. Revis matchup is just as good. Talib said this offseason that Peyton Manning was the better when asked to compare Manning to Tom Brady; this is his chance to prove that to everyone else.

This game has story lines everywhere, but the wideout/secondary match ups are going to be incredible. Oh, and those two QB’s may end up being decent NFL prospects when it is all said and done.
