Several Miami Dolphins players out of practice today
The Miami Dolphins are looking to improve from their 2013 season in which the team went 8-8, came in third in the AFC East, did not qualify for the playoffs for the fifth year in a row, and was the center of a major bullying scandal that was the hot topic in all of sports.

The Dolphins rid themselves of Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito, the two main pieces in the bullying scandal, in hopes of moving forward to the 2014 season.
The Dolphins’ offense has struggled thus far in training camp, but reports have stated that the defense has looked outstanding. Today, several players will miss practice due to a myriad of injuries. Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports the players that are out for today’s practice:
Salguero did not mention Tariq Edwards, but he too will be out of Dolphins practice with a knee injury.
None of the aforementioned players are extremely important to the Miami Dolphins at this juncture, but Matt Moore is the second string quarterback. Without Moore today the second team will not have it’s usual quarterback running plays.
By the time the regular season comes around, the Dolphins will need Moore in top shape just in case Ryan Tannehill goes down at any point in the season. If in fact that does happen, Moore is more than serviceable as a backup.
