LeBron James reacts to Paul George injury

LeBron James and Indiana Pacers star Paul George are two of the most competitive athletes in the NBA. Because of that, they have a strong mutual respect.

When LeBron learned about the gruesome leg injury suffered by George (GIF here) that ultimately brought an early end to the Team USA Basketball Showcase, he took to social media to share his condolences and wish George a full and speedy recovery.
LeBron’s heartfelt message appeared on his Instagram account.
The message from the Cleveland Cavaliers star read:
"Hurt my stomach the moment I heard the news! I didn’t want to believe it. Man I need u out there bro! Get well and have a speedy recovery PG24! #DamnIt #YoungKing #StriveForGreatness"
LeBron also shared a collage of moments that he and George shared on the court.
George’s season is almost certainly over and the early timetable for his recovery is nine to twelve months.
We would like to echo LeBron’s comments and wish George the best as he begins working towards his return to the court.
