When it was announced that former New York Giants defensive star Michael Strahan would be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the 2014 Hall of Fame class, many were wondering whether or not the bust would feature Strahan’s iconic gap and we got our answer Saturday night.

The NFL Network showed off the Hall of Fame busts before they were presented to the 2014 class, and sure enough the gap was there.

It wouldn’t have been appropriate to create a Strahan bust without that gap that has been a big part of his character throughout his career, so it was great to see that included as Strahan joins football’s elite.

Strahan will be the last of the seven-man class to give his Hall of Fame speech on Saturday night in Canton, Ohio, so be sure to tune in to ESPN 2 and the NFL Network to watch the magic unfold.
