We’re just moments away from the first preseason football game of the season as the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills will square off in the NFL Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. But before the actual football can take place on the field, the 2014 inductees were presented to the live crowd, and that meant it was time for Giants legend Michael Strahan to take center stage.
And when it was time for him to make his appearance on the field, he was mobbed by the current members of his former team, the Giants, in a scene that was simply awesome.
Strahan was one of the rare players in the history of the game that played his entire career with one organization, and because of that, he is considered one of the greatest Giants of all time.

On Saturday night, Strahan had maybe one of the best induction speeches that you will ever hear, and he let you know why he’s been so successful post-football.
But the scene above in Canton shows you why he’s one of the most respected players in the history of the game, and more than worthy of his induction.
