Favre’s time in Green Bay eventually came to an end, and he moved on to the New York Jets before being joining the division rival Minnesota Vikings.
That decision to join the Vikings put a strain on an already rocky relationship with the Packers front office and their front office, but it looks like all of those hard feelings have been brushed to the side.
So what will that announcement on Monday be?
According to reports, the Packers will be inducting Favre into the team’s Hall of Fame and retiring his No. 4 jersey.
From Rob Demovsky of ESPN:
Monday's announcement: Brett Favre will be inducted into the #Packers HOF in 2015 and have his No. 4 retired, per sources. Story coming.

It is great to see the two sides put their differences behind them, and even better to see that Favre will be immortalized among the Packers’ all-time greats.
It was only a matter of time until the Packers honored Favre in this way, and it appears that the time has finally come.
