The Phoenix Suns gave P.J. Tucker a new deal not that long ago but it won’t be that long until he goes to jail. The Suns player was busted for a DUI a few months ago and is now going to be finally paying the consequences for what can only be described as one of the most aggressive DUI arrests without anyone being killed ever.

Back in May, Tucker was pulled over for driving under the influence and ended up registering a .222 blood alcohol level — which is nearly three times the legal Arizona limit. The Suns knew about the arrest and the severity of it when they gave Tucker his new contract, but he still has to pay the price for his crime.

That price is pretty hefty too, as among carrying the penalty of three days in jail, 11 house arrest days and five years of probation, Tucker also has on his file the he was given a ‘super extreme DUI’.

Drunk driving isn’t a joke, and Tucker is learning that in the most lenient of ways. Most drunk drivers learn the cost of their crime through blood and death but thankfully the only one being hurt here is the man responsible and it’s not even a physical pain that he will feel.
