As bad as everyone feels for the Pacers, the loss of George is creating an opening for teams to go hard after the Pacers and knock them off sans their superstar, which is prompting the Pacers to quickly find the best replacement they can on their roster for him.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Pacers are making a strong push to try and sign Shawn Marion and have been calling him up over the past few days to try and make something happen.
