The announcement centers around the single-player career mode in the game, which will consist of two key components, with the first being known as the 2K Showcase.
The 2K Showcase, which will be available on both current- and next-gen versions of the game, is a mode that is broken down into two episodes that will each focus on a separate key storyline from WWE’s long history of great battles. The rivalries that will be featured aren’t known, but they are expected to be a couple of the most popular in the company’s history.
The other main single-player game mode is finally what fans of the WWE video game franchise have been wanting for quite a while: an actual career mode.
Dubbed MyCareer, this mode has been taken from the framework of NBA 2k14, but changed to work well with the WWE Universe. No major details regarding how the MyCareer mode will work in WWE 2k15 were released, but it is known that this mode will only be available on the current-gen version of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
WWE 2k15 releases on Tuesday, October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Mike’s Musings: It’s about time we get an actual MyCareer mode. This was the one thing I was hoping 2K would do when they purchased the license. There is so much potential with a WWE MyCareer mode that this could turn out to be one of the best WWE games because of it.
