LeBron James refutes reports of meeting David Blatt

Since LeBron James joined social media, he’s been quite mum on any reports that have been published about him in the media. At least until earlier today when he decided to speak out against a report from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst that said the superstar met up with Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt and general manager David Griffin.

Due to the ‘relationship’ between James and Windhorst–Brian has covered James since high school–it’s a bit odd to see LeBron take time out of his day to publicly refute the report. There are nothing you can pull from LeBron meeting with the Cavs brass as he prepares for another two seasons with the team drafting him. Maybe he’s attempting to get a grasp on what the team has in store going forward from this point. Maybe he wanted an update on the Kevin Love trade–a deal that has reportedly been agreed to.

One thing’s for sure unless there was a bug wherever James, Griffin, and Blatt met–we won’t ever know.
