The Cleveland Cavaliers are close to finally acquiring Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves, but there are still kinks that can throw things off.

One team that is trying to get Kevin Love are the Golden State Warriors, and they apparently have the power to make the Wolves forget about the Cleveland Cavaliers trade off of Andrew Wiggins and others.
According to Ken Berger from CBSSports.com, the agreed upon deal that sends Kevin Love to the Cavaliers could be blown up if the Wolves get an offer for Klay Thompson in the near future.
"But as one league source connected to the negotiations said Thursday, what if Golden State emerged with an offer that would finally include coveted shooting guard Klay Thompson in a deal for Love?“Flip will get amnesia real quick about any existing deal,” the person said."
Of course, the Warriors have shown no willingness to trade Thompson up to this point in the offseason so it’s looking like a deal won’t be happening. Still, despite the Cavs need for Love and their offer out the Wolves, all the cards are still held by the Golden State Warriors.
