The New England Patriots and Washington Redskins face off on Thursday night as Week 1 of the 2014 NFL preseason officially begins.

The two sides have been practicing together with their joint sessions, but now they will have the opportunity to get in some actual game reps against one another.

For the Redskins, it will be interesting to see how the offense looks under the new direction of Jay Gruden.

If all goes according to plan, the team will bounce back and Robert Griffin III will bounce back from his sophomore slump.
