The NFL preseason is getting kicked off in full force on Thursday night, and this is the time where players show that they will do whatever it takes to make it on an NFL roster once the regular season begins. Well the Patriots’ Kanorris Davis certainly showed Bill Belichick that he’ll do whatever it takes to make his team on one special teams play.

Watch below as not only does Davis get shoved out of bounds, but he loses his helmet on the play also. But that’s okay, because he got right back into the field of play and of course made the tackle anyway.

Now that right there is dedication, and you know that a coach like Belichick has to be happy with that sort of effort from one of his players.

Still, as awesome as that was, that’s one of the more dangerous situations that a football player can get himself involved with, and he will more than likely be told by the coaching staff not to do that again. It’s nice to see the effort, but you don’t want to see someone risking their life out there by tackling without a helmet.
