It has become the trend amongst NBA fans to burn jerseys of star players who have abandoned your franchise for greener pastures. Cleveland Cavaliers fans famously burned LeBron James’ jersey when he left Ohio and Miami Heat fans burned his jersey when he decided to return to Ohio.

So with Kevin Love pressuring the Minnesota Timberwolves to trade him, they’ve agreed to a deal to send him to the Cavaliers to join James. That means Minnesota fans everywhere, it is time to start burning Love’s jersey.

The only problem is that jersey burning isn’t exactly nice and it doesn’t fit with Minnesota’s “nice” reputation, which How I Met Your Mother famously chronicled with Jason Segel’s character Marshall Eriksen.

One Timberwolves fan uploaded a hilarious video with “angry” Love fans who want to pretend to burn the jersey and give Love well wishes while thanking him for his time with the team and stating that they understand his decision to leave.
