The Cleveland Browns will take the field for their first preseason game of the year very shortly against the Detroit Lions, and while most people are waiting to see the debut of quarterback Johnny Manziel, folks will not get the chance to see the team’s other first first round pick, CB Justin Gilbert, as he and a few other big names have been ruled out on Saturday night.

Aside from not being able to see Gilbert take the field for his NFL debut, there are a good number of people that are disappointed they won’t get to see Nate Burleson take the field against his old team in the Lions, including Burleson himself. He even promised to make it a memorable occasion, not matter how much it ended up costing him.

Unfortunately, we will not get to see that on Saturday night, nor will we get Manziel to work with him, as he could become Johnny’s prime target if he wins the starting QB job, with the impending suspension of Josh Gordon.
