With only rare exceptions, most fantasy football leagues emphasize running back as the most important position. As a result, most fantasy drafts are running back heavy throughout the first half of the draft especially at the very top of the board where the early rounds are covered in RB’s.
Because they come off the board so early, getting the right RB is tricky but also extremely vital. While wide receivers are available late and even on the waiver wire, getting a quality RB after the draft is never easy.
To be successful, fantasy owners have to be familiar with the backfield situation of almost every team. To help you get ready for your drafts, over the next few weeks I’m going to be looking at the backfield situation for each team with my fantasy outlook for all the potential contributors.
A week ago I came out with my initial top-40 RB’s with individual analysis, but I wanted to go deeper this week, so here you can find a list of my top 80 and come back throughout the next couple of weeks as I go team-by-team through the list. I’ll be updating this list with links to each team’s running back rundown as they become available.
