In training camp this month, the Miami Dolphins have some serious issues behind Ryan Tannehill at the quarterback spot. With injuries to Matt Moore and Pat Devlin, the need a good, solid hand at practices, and that’s why they’ll be working out veteran QB Rex Grossman on Monday.
Drew Rosenhaus says on his weekly WSVN-Fox segment tonight that veteran QB Rex Grossman, his client, will work out for Dolphins on Monday.

Now this workout is for nothing more, realistically, than to have just another body out there while Moore and Devlin are working through their physical issues at the moment. Grossman, might be the best bet of all to get them through the next few weeks.

Grossman, getting set to enter his 12th year in the league, spent the last four seasons with the Washington Redskins, with the last two sitting behind Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins. Although, he hasn’t played in a meaningful contest in the last two years.
But again, that’s not of importance for the Dolphins. They just need someone with the experience of Grossman to help with the workouts, and there might be none better out there than the former Super Bowl signal caller.
