The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to make moves that are going to strengthen their chances of winning an NBA title in 2014-15, but not all of the moves are roster moves.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

On the bench, David Blatt is making his NBA coaching debut this season as he’s loaded up on international coaching experience but has none at the NBA level. His friend, former Milwaukee Bucks coach Larry Drew, has NBa coaching experience and will be taking his talents to Cleveland.

According to NBA scribe Gary Washburn from the Boston Globe, the decision for Larry Drew to join David Blatt’s staff in Cleveland has become official.

Blatt and Drew have history together and Drew has head coaching experience at the NBA level — something Blatt does not. The duo already have a relationship in place, which will help get things flowing more easily in Cleveland and will likely help Blatt get off to a smoother start as he makes his NBA coaching debut this upcoming season.
