According to ESPN, the San Antonio Spurs will receive their NBA Finals rings on October 28th against the Dallas Mavericks in what will prove to be another intense installment in the rivalry series.
"“Ring Night” for the Spurs, sources said, is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 28 at home against the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio’s opponent for seven games in the first round of this past season’s playoffs."
The game will be meaningful for more than one reason as the Spurs and Mavericks dislike each other on an extraordinary level, and the Spurs championship run to eventually get the rings they’ll be receiving on October 28th started against the Mavericks in round one of the postseason.
Dallas has a revamped roster this year, and the Spurs are looking as good as ever, which means the tip off to the NBA season will be an event lots of fans will want to take in.
