According to Ramona Shelburne from ESPN Los Angeles, the Clippers will not be held up any longer when ti comes to their sale to Steve Ballmer, as the former Microsoft CEO is going to be the full owner of the team while Sterling is going to collect his $2 billion and cry about it — for some reason.
Sterling is getting a lot of money, which is why so many are confused over his fight to block the sale, but a bruised ego is something rich white guys don’t like to have and Sterling’s ego is more than bruised. He was destroyed by the scandal over his racist comments and he will go down in history not as a racist rich white guy but a racist rich white guy who didn’t get his way — which is much worse than anything Sterling could have ever imagined.
