The Detroit Pistons are hoping to show vast improvement this season. After a disappointing 2013-14 season, the Pistons hired former Orlando Magic and Miami Heat head coach Stan Van Gundy to serve as the team’s president and head coach. He has since added swingman Jodie Meeks, guard Cartier Martin, point guard D.J. Augustin, veteran Caron Butler and reserve big man Aaron Gray. Although big man Greg Monroe remains a restricted free agent, he is expected to sign his qualifying offer and spend at least one more season in Detroit.

The Pistons will be led by center Andre Drummond, who is developing into one of the league’s best big men.
