After 50,000 tries, just to double check, an advanced simulation program discovered the obvious: The Denver Broncos will once again be the favorite to win the Super Bowl in 2015. The team has been given a 25% chance to win it all, which bests the odds of any other NFL team.

More from Denver Broncos

The Denver Post reports that PredictionMachine.com listed Denver’s shot at the Super Bowl as about 1-in-4 after the Broncos won the Super Bowl in 25.1 percent of the site’s 50,000 season simulations. That figure may not sound very likely, given how stacked the Broncos will be this season, but it’s the best odds in the league. The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks won the ’15 Super Bowl in 22.6% of the simulations.

“We expect a lot. I know our fans do, and rightfully so,” Denver coach John Fox said. “We’ve got great fans. But our guys are very motivated by the fact that you’re in this to win the world championship.”

A simulation program is going to offer a more accurate prediction of a season on Madden 15 than it would the 2015 NFL season. Still, this should be just another reminder that, despite getting shellacked in the Super Bowl, the revamped Broncos are ready for this season and poised to return to the championship game.
